On December 23, 2021, the All-Union Commonwealth of Evangelical Christians, Moscow, hosted a meeting of the Advisory Council of the Heads of Protestant Churches in Russia.
The meeting discussed the progress of the development of a requirement specification (“passport”) to be met by an educational institution in order to teach Protestant Theology. The higher attestation commission will include a Protestant—Rev. Anatoli Pogasiy, the pastor of the ELCIR congregation in Kazan, Tatarstan. He meets the criteria to be included in the commission as he has written more than 10 publications in 5 years and teaches at a state-run educational institution, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.
