Prison ministry is one of the areas of diaconia, the mercy ministry Jesus commanded His Church to do. The Halfway House in Novosibirsk is a center that gives aid to current and former prisoners and their families. Ex-convicts receive assistance in their re-integration in society such as doing legal paperwork, finding a job, restoring their relationship with family, and other areas.
