From November 2-28, 2021, the Lutheran Church of Verkhni Suetuk in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Siberia, was busy installing electric wiring. The indoor wiring is in place. Please pray that the church receives permission to connect to the electric utility, so that the congregation can meet for worship also in wintertime. Once it has electric power supply, the congregation plans to heat the church building by means of a convection heater and a diesel heater. At the moment, however, the temperature indoors is the same as outdoors, so the congregation has only been able to meet for worship in its own building in summertime and used the village club during winter. The lit electric lamps in the attached photos were powered by an extension cord from a neighboring house. The congregation would like to thank Christer Mörd with Laestadianernas Fridsföreningars Förbund and the Estonian missionaries who helped raise funds for this project.
