On November 26, 2021, the ministers of the ELCIR Uralic Deanery met together for a conference at the Lutheran Church of Kazan, Tatarstan. Rev. Dean Konstantin Subbotin held a seminar on the relationship of pastoral care and psychology. During a roundtable discussion, the participants discussed “Istseleniye lyubovyu” (“Healing Love”), a counseling guidebook by Petri Välimäki in Russian translation and the practices of pastoral care in the congregations. Following that, the ministers studied the latest version of the Statute of the Church, made work plans for 2022, had informal fellowship, and watched a film together.
