During the mission festival on Sunday, November 7, 2021, St. John’s Estonian Congregation of St. Petersburg (Jaani kirik) had a new church servant installed. During the divine service, Andrei Ignatov received a blessing to serve the church in the ministry of Catechist. Andrei was called to this ministry after he graduated from the Initial Theological Course at the ELCIR Theological Institute.
In spite of the pandemic, the congregation is fruitful in its service as it develops new projects and new forms of work. Thanks be to God for its dedicated ministers, active church council members, and congregants! May our Lord bless and strengthen His church!
