On Reformation Day, October 31, 2021, Mikael Agricola Choir from the Lutheran Congregation of Vyborg was at St. George’s Lutheran Congregation of Koltushi, Leningrad Oblast, to perform during the Finnish-language and Russian-language divine services together with the congregation’s musicians and choir. They also helped Bishop Laptev guide visitors on a musical tour of the church by performing Lutheran songs and demonstrating the capabilities of various musical instruments. Bishop Laptev made a vivid presentation about the role of church music and J. S. Bach.
