We’re happy to share more good news as the ELCIR Diaconal Department and its Trilistnik Project assisting struggling families have won a social good and family work development grant from the Republic of Karelia!Within the grant amount and according to the Diaconal Department’s work plan approved by the ELCIR Synod, the diaconal arm of the Church will buy groceries, medicines, and hygiene articles for needy members of the Church and their family members and hold seminars on diaconal and family ministry at ELCIR congregations.
We pray the pandemic restrictions do not hinder our work, so that it may serve to enhance diaconal ministry in our Karelia congregations during these trying times!
