Below are some of the decisions made by the ELCIR Synodal Council on October 1, 2021
– Ordain Vladimir Shilovski into the Office of Pastor to serve the ELCIR Siberian Deanery. Assign him to service in Israel.
– Confer a blessing to Roman Kizyma to serve as a catechist at St. Mary’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Petersburg after a catechist exam;
– Confer a blessing to Andrei Vasilyev to serve as a catechist at St. Mary’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Petersburg after a catechist exam;
– Confer a blessing to Nikolai Minenkov to serve as a catechist at St. Mary’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Petersburg after a catechist exam;
– Confer a blessing to Viktor Buryanov to serve as a catechist at St. Mary’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Petersburg after a catechist exam;
– Confer a blessing to Ivan Mazurmovich to serve as a catechist at St. Mary’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Petersburg after a catechist exam;
– Confer a blessing to Aleksei Mikhailov to serve as a catechist at St. Mary’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Petersburg after a catechist exam;
– Confer a blessing to Andrei Ignatov to serve St. John’s Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Petersburg after a catechist exam;
– Prolong the term of office for Pastor Sergei Shilovski as the senior pastor of St. John the Baptist Evangelical Lutheran Church in Verkhni Suetuk and St. George’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nizhnyaya Bulanka for two years from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2023.
– Call Kylväjä Missionary Samuel Laukkanen for service in Yakutsk from October 1, 2021 to August 31, 2023.
– Issue certificates of authorization for mission work to Zoya Bryskovskaya, Maksim Masalski, Yelizaveta Spasskaya.
– Affirm the order of business for the ELCIR Synod on October 15, 2021.
