At the Lutheran churches in Chalna and Petrozavodsk, Karelia, in late September and on October 9, 2021 respectively, Vladislav Milyutin, master of history, presented a lecture entitled “American Finns: in Search of a New Home.”A two and a half minute report about the lecture aired on Viestit Karjala news program on Rossiya 1 Karelia, a regional channel of VGTRK, a state-owned broadcaster which operates many television and radio channels in 53 of Russia’s languages.
