On September 18, 2021, Vladislav Milyutin, Master of History, presented a lecture at the Lutheran Congregation of Sortavala, Karelia, about the history of Ingrian Finns. The lecturer shared about the origins of the ethnic group, the development of its identity as Lutherans, and the situation of Ingrian Finns during the dramatic periods in Russia in the 19th and 20th centuries. The lecture was very well received. The listeners shared their own memories of the Soviet deportations and later return to their homeland.
