On September 19, 2021, the Lutheran Congregation of Kalevala, Karelia, had a worship service with Holy Communion celebrated by Rev. Andrei Tuhkanen and catechist Daniil Urayevski. This was the first communion service since May. Thanks be to God for the possibility of meeting together and partaking of the Sacrament of the Holy Body and Blood of Christ!After the worship service, teenage congregants performed several songs from the Youth Hymnal. Catechists Daniil Urayevski and Ivan Malikin taught a Bible study for children and teenagers on the topic “Jesus Gives Freedom.”
