From August 7-8, 2021, the Lutheran Congregation of Petrozavodsk, Karelia, hosted an interdenominational festival entitled “In the Beginning was the Word.”In the first part of the festival, ministers of the city’s different churches read the Gospel of John: Lutherans, The New Life Evangelical Faith Christians, Roman Catholics, The Living Spring Evangelical Faith Christians, Baptists. and The Salvation Army. In between the Bible readings, Artur Soitu sang spiritual songs.
