News from the Kolpany Lutheran Parish Church in Maliye Kolpany near Gatchina, Leningrad Oblast
By God’s mercy, we’ve managed to fix parts of the church roof that were in disrepair: on the bell tower, on the left wing of the façade, and on the dining hall. Along with that, we replaced worn-out fasteners on the perimeter, took down the pipe of the expansion tank from the attic, and removed the concrete block from the façade, freeing up space to install parts of the Schwindt family funerary monument. The heroes of the day are Danila and Aleksandr! The whole congregation says thank you very much! The congregation paid for the rent of a crane truck, the mounting work, the fasteners and fittings. We would appreciate sponsor support, too.
We’ve started installing fire alarm and warning systems in the church’s rooms. We expect to complete the work by July 23. The ELCIR Headquarters paid for the planning and installation work. We’d like to thank Bishop Ivan Laptev, Pastor Aleksandr Kudryavtsev, and Vladimir Yakovlev for their assistance!
Stay healthy and may God keep you!
