In late June, the Lutheran Church of Murmansk received the following kitchen equipment: an integrated sink, a dishwashing machine, a countertop, two corner cabinet countertops, and a duct. We’re deeply grateful to the group of friends in Norway who donated the money to buy this equipment. Also, the congregation used locally collected offerings to get internet access and to order and install a food-dispensing cabinet countertop in the kitchen and a coatroom enclosure in the church’s lobby. God continues to furnish His house. As He doesn’t do anything without a reason, the congregation hopes that in the new season after the summer holidays it can use the kitchen like the rest of the church building for the good of their neighbors and for the glory of the Lord and have online meetings with friends in Russia and abroad. Construction and winterizing work will continue on the southern side of the building. Other work will include land improvement in front of the church’s front door and replacement of the existing solid fence. Bishop Ivan Laptev said he’d send contractors to Murmansk in July. We continue to praise and glorify God as we learn to trust and hope in Him.
