From June 23-25, 2021, the Lutheran Church of Birsk, Bashkiria, hosted a meeting of pastors and lay servants of the ELCIR Uralic Deanery from Birsk, Cheboksary, Kazan, Saransk, Ufa, and Yoshkar-Ola. Deacon Yevgeni Raskatov, head of the ELCIR Mission Department, conducted seminars on mission. The time together included a festive Augsburg Confession Day worship service and a one-day glamping retreat.
