Rt. Rev. Ivan Laptev, Bishop of The Church of Ingria and rector of its Theological Institute, along with five rectors of other Protestant Christian educational institutions has been elected into the board of the Council for Protestant Education, an association established in Russia on June 15, 2021. According to Boris Protasevich, the Council’s chairman and rector of Zaoksky University of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, in an interview for the Institute of Religion and Policy, “the Council’s first task is to develop and register a Protestant Theology Passport and also to further and popularize Protestant education in Russia.”
