On June 10, 2021, the ELCIR Siberian Deanery held a meeting in Ulan-Ude, Buryatia, gathering Rt. Rev. Bishop Laptev, Rev. Dean Ville Melanen, clergymen from the ELCIR congregations in Irkutsk, Karatuzskoye, Minusinsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Ulan-Ude, and Verkhni Suetuk.
