On May 29, 2021, Darya Shkurlyatyeva, the cantor of the ELCIR congregation in Vyborg made an online presentation for the conference “Women in the Church” held by the Siberian Evangelical Lutheran Church. She spoke at the invitation of SELC Seminary Rector Rev. Aleksei Streltsov. Darya shared about the educational projects of Mikael Agricola Choir which she leads in her church.
Darya also talked about how the Scandinavian musical instrument psalmodicon helps get out the message about the importance of congregational singing in the Lutheran Church.
