Volunteers from the Lutheran Church of Cheboksary, Chuvashia, organized an Easter festival for children at a rehabilitation center on May 2, 2021, Easter Sunday according to the Russian Orthodox Church calendar. They collected chocolate eggs for the center’s inmates, bought the materials, and taught a master class on baking the traditional Russian Easter bread, kulich. Making the kulich was not only a very useful time, teaching the kids some basic cooking skills, but also a delicious one! Also, the kids learned new things about the traditions of Easter and sang favorite songs with the volunteers!
