The museum of St. Michael’s Lutheran Congregation in St. Petersburg has launched its personal Russian-language audio guide on izi.TRAVEL, an open tourist platform for mobile audio guides. From now on, anyone who walks into our church or simply passes by can learn a lot about St. Michael’s congregation by scanning only one QR code.
You can open your audio guide in a browser or install a free izi.TRAVEL phone app. It allows you not only to listen to the information, but also read it while looking over the illustrations. The app users can also download all the material into their smartphone to be able to access it offline. The audio guide is completely free of charge. It’s not a replacement for tours which take place in the church every week, but it gives basic information about the modern day of the Lutheran congregation and the important landmarks of its history. Itinerary topics: Church Building, Architectural Design, Interior, Stained Glass, Worship Area, Lutheran Congregation Today.
