On April 7, 2021, the Lutheran Congregation of Koltushi received guests—Yelena Shcherbakova, chairperson, Red Cross Society in Vsevolozhsky District, Leningrad Oblast; Anna Sergeyeva, specialist, Youth Policy, Tourism, and Interethnic Relations Dept., Administration of Vsevolozhsky District, Leningrad Oblast; and Katerina Shcherbataya, head of M13 Youth Employment and Volunteer Services Center. Over a cup of tea, the guests heard about the centuries-long history of the Lutheran congregation in Koltushi and its various ministries with a special emphasis on diaconal service as the social ministry of the Church. The guests also visited the Koltushi Community Social & Diaconal Service Center and the ELCIR Theological Institute.
