On March 21, 2021, Rev. Dean Ivan Hutter of the ELCIR St. Petersburg Deanery co-celebrated the divine service at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg celebrating the Feast of Annunciation. His deep baritone and heartfelt sermon about the mission of the Virgin Mary left an indelible impression on all the worshipers.
The worship service was followed by a seminar on diaconal service. Dean Hutter shared about the initial steps The Church of Ingria made in serving the neighbor. Head of the ELCIR Diaconal Dept. Aleksandr Smirnov presented a detailed report on our Church’s successful ongoing and planned projects. In conclusion of the seminar, Oleg Belezhenko, head of Anna Pomogayet Charity Cluster, talked about his work.In appreciation of the insightful and inspirational seminar, St. Michael’s Congregation presented gifts to their guests.
