Praise the Lord for the confirmation of Irina and Maria at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chalna, Karelia, on the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord! There was a festive family worship service filled with the joyful exclamations of children who accounted for one-third of the worshipers on that day. The confirmands received a gift of Study Bibles and 2021 desktop calendars on the theme of the church’s 25th anniversary. We congratulate our sisters in Christ from all our hearts and wish them to firmly keep the promises they made to God and the congregation!
