Join a tour to see, hear, and touch St. Mary’s Church Organ!

On Saturday, November 28, 2020, St. Mary’s Cathedral of St. Petersburg offers a unique guided tour of the Cathedral’s organ!

The baroque pipe organ built in the 21st century following the 18th-century Gottfried Silbermann tradition has 27 registers and almost 1500 pipes. It is the type of organ J. S. Bach wrote his music for!

The tour will be guided by Marina Väisä, the chief organist of St. Mary’s Cathedral, an assistant professor of organ and harpsichord at the St. Petersburg Conservatory.

First tour: 12 noon
Second tour: 2 pm

Each tour group size: 30 people. Tickets are “first come, first served,” so reserve your tickets ahead of time! Price per person: 500 rubles.
