From November 2-13, 2020, the Theological Institute of The Church of Ingria (TICI) taught the Initial Theological Course. The students listened to the lectures and took exams in the following course modules: OT, NT, Personal Spiritual Life, Homiletics and Hermeneutics.
On November 10, Head of the ELCIR Mission Department Deacon Yevgeni Raskatov gave a presentation introducing the students to a new edition of Luther’ Small Catechism with a commentary by Edward Koehler. This week, when the classes are over, books published by the Lutheran Heritage Foundation will be taken to different Church of Ingria congregations and communities wide across Russia – Gubanitsy, Kirov, Koltushi, Krasnodar, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Saransk, St. Petersburg, Tyrö, Velikiye Luki, and Yukki.Information provided by
