On October 25, 2020 at 9:35 am, Olga Yurievna Ryumina, a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg, a member of the church council, head of Hope Charitable Foundation aiding women in crisis situations, departed this earthly life to be with the Lord. Mrs. Ryumina was a regular contributor to the Church of Ingria magazine.
All her life was devoted to Jesus Christ in Christian service, proclamation of the Gospel, works of mercy, and charity. St. Michael’s Church is indebted to Mrs. Ryumina’s efforts, vast knowledge, and erudition for the establishment of a museum of the congregation’s history. Many congregational activities were made possible through her inherent energy, enthusiasm, and inventiveness. Without exaggeration, Olga Yurievna was the heart and soul of the congregation.
Her caring and gentle attitude to people, her concern about church affairs and each of the congregants are known to all.
Mrs. Ryumina departed this world in the prime of her powers and creative vigor. An interrupted flight.
We humbly bow our heads before the will of the Almighty and Merciful God and thank Him for giving us this wonderful person and allowing us to know and love her.
“Blessed be the name of the Lord” (Ps. 113:2)
Thus says the Lord, “I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25)
Dear Olga Yurievna, we will never forget you. Farewell till we joyfully meet again in Heaven!
The funeral service and the burial will be announced later.
