In summer, some of the Church of Ingria congregations conduct regular Bible studies for children.
At the Congregation in Skvoritsy, Leningrad Oblast, the latest class on Jesus fasting in the wilderness and His temptation by the devil, included an illustrative visit to the church’s roof. (Lk. 4:9-12)
At the Congregation in Kem, Karelia, they use the Superbook Animated Parent and Child Theater to teach Bible stories. Organizing the free time of children and young people is a challenging issue in Rabocheostrovsk, a village in the Kemsky District, and the Lutheran church solves part of it by making its building available as a leisure center for the younger generation.
In addition to Sunday school, the students at the Congregation in Roshchino, Leningrad Oblast, also attend worship services. On the Sunday before last, the church members congratulated their pastor Rev. Aleksandr Kudryavtsev on the birth of a grandson whose name is Platon! We join in with the congratulations!
