The Hospes Dei Diaconal Ministry of The Church of Ingria reports that 10 congregations received a total of 65 packages of food aid from a charity foundation for old people and the ELCIR Diaconal Dept. during the lockdown. Also, some of the on-campus students of the Theological Institute received groceries and pampers for their children. The Kolibri (“Hummingbird”) Project provided groceries, clothes, and pampers for a family that lost their house in a fire. A family in Kronstadt that is taken care of by the Diaconal Dept. on an ongoing basis received food aid and a child’s stroller. Members from 4 congregations in the St. Petersburg region (Leningrad Oblast) received hygiene articles. Another 5 families received aid items on request.
