On May 25, 2020, Rev. Aleksei Shepelyov (left in photo) serving in Simferopol, Crimea, kicked off a new online project called Luteranstvo, kak-to tak (roughly translated as “All Things Lutheran.”) On the YouTube channel of his WordRus Ministry, he’s been hosting informal video chats with his guests about the life of Lutheran churches, how his guests became Lutherans, the challenges, joys, and problems of Lutheranism today. So far Pastor Aleksei has had Deacon Sergei Anikin, Deacon Pavel Tsvetkov, and Pastor Dmitri Rozet (right in photo) on his program. Anyone interested is welcome to video-chat with Rev. Shepelyov. (So far the project has been done only in the Russian language.)
