Dear Friends! The Mikael Agricola Choir and the Agricola Reconstruction Club have prepared for you a short online tour!
Each of the 18 “tour guides” speak exactly 3 sentences. Some of them spoke them by phone as we recorded and others sent them as voice recorder audios. Like mosaic pieces, they put together a text. It is illustrated mostly by photos taken by Yelena Zhalnina and Darya Shkurlyatyeva during a trip on the King’s Road in Finland to the homeland of Mikael Agricola (1510-1557).
Online project coordinator Yelena Zhukova from Vyborg and honorary Agricolans Yelena Baranova from Rzhev and Tatyana Ryumina from St. Petersburg play a phrase from a hymn by Agricola on flutes. The voice of Agricola himself is our choir member Vladimir Yanyonok reading the beginning of a Latin manuscript.
