On March 27-28, 2020, Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in Novosibirsk is going to host The Red Thread of the Bible seminar.
“Many came to see the Bible in a completely different light when they realized what its ‘red thread’ is.” The first seminar of this kind was held in Finland in 2000. Since then, there have been over 100 seminars in Finland and other countries. “The advantage of such a short intensive course is that it is accessible to those who cannot attend a long training,” says one of its teachers Rev. Leif Nummela, a pastor and Christian journalist. The second teacher is Rev. Vesa Ollilainen, a doctor of theology.
The two pastors’ lectures are complimentary to each other. According to Pastor Leif, his own understanding of the Bible changed after he saw how closely the Old and the New Testaments are related to each other: “The promises of the Old Testament made at the beginning of the Bible are completely fulfilled in the New Testament. This makes the Bible a perfect Book!”
On Saturday, you can stay for a discussion and a Q&A session after the seminar.
