On February 22, 2020, in Rabocheostrosvk, Kem District, Karelia, Bishop Laptev met with the working group for the construction of a new church building in Kem. They discussed the project and held a prayer service on the future construction site. Cordial thanks to the congregation’s pastor Rev. Vladimir Yakushov for the warm welcome and Fr. Simeon, head of the Solovki Russian Orthodox podvorye (conventual church and inn compound) in Kem, for the chance to visit the Dormition Cathedral.
