Longtime friends of Sts. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Vyborg Steinar Harila with a group of young people from Norway visited the congregation on February 17, 2020.
By tradition, the fellowship opened with the pastor of the congregation Rev. Vladimir Dorodni saying a word of greeting to the guests. He thanked the organization Hjelp til Russland and Steinar personally for the great work they have been doing for more than 20 years.
Then, young people from the congregation had a chance to greet the Norwegian guests. They performed two songs, Yevangelie (“The Gospel”) and Ty obyemlesh menya (“You Embrace Me”), showed a pantomime called Jesus is the Foundation of Life and a skit called Four Colors. Daniil Raigorodski who was confirmed in 2019 performed the beautiful Fantaisie by Gabriel Fauré on a flute. The youth were prepared for the performance by teenage ministry teacher Irina Sukhareva.
Congregational cantor Marina Kuvshinova performed a classical music piece on the organ.
The Norwegian youth passionately witnessed to their Christian faith, praised the Lord in song, and also showed two pantomimes, The Consequence of Sin and Jesus is Victor over Sin.
