On January 13, 2020, Bishop Elect Ivan Laptev assumed the duties of the legal 
head of Centralized Religious Organization The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia (ELCIR). His ordination as a bishop will take place on February 9, 2020. We rejoice and pray for wisdom and strength for the Right Reverend Laptev.
