The Lutheran church building in Primorsk, Vyborg District, Leningrad Oblast, is planned to be converted into a concert & exhibition hall that can hold several hundred people.
According to the government procurement website, on November 3, 2020, Vyborg Preserve Grounds opened a selective tender for planning and estimating the preservation of the church building in Primorsk. The initial contract price is ₽20 million. The funds will be provided by regional government.
According to the statement of work, the church is to be fitted out as a concert & exhibition center with a seating capacity of 300 persons. The boiler house will need to be reconstructed, too. The contractor will need to present documentation specifying how the work will be done. The papers must be prepared by November 2021.
FYI, the former Lutheran church in Primorsk was designed by Josef Stenbäck and built in 1904. The church is a cultural heritage item of regional importance.
