On February 28, 2020, the ELCIR Theological Institute in Koltushi hosted a roundtable discussion, “The History of the Lutheran Cemetery on Nagornaya Street in Vsevolozhsk and Its Future.” The discussion was organized by Russkoye nasledie, a regional history association in Vsevolozhsk (chairperson I. N. Gureyeva-Doroshenko) and the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation in Koltushi.
The roundtable participants reviewed and discussed the issues affecting the preservation of the cemetery and resolved to submit the following proposals to the administration of the Vsevolozhsky District of the Leningrad Oblast:
1. Based on the land cadaster record, make the upkeep of the cemetery a duty of Ritualnye uslugi, a funeral home in the Vsevolozhsky District.
2. Give permission to the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation in Koltushi to establish a St. Regina Chapel in the cemetery.
3. Develop a project to build a memorial complex giving the cemetery the status of historical memorial cemetery and make it part of the historical memorial complex on the Rumbolovo Mount.
4. Request Grif, a limited liability company, to manufacture and set up an information board in the cemetery.
